if i,d have been flying eastern 401 on that tragic night–i,d have pulled the hose gear lamp socket out like they did & then pulled one of the main gear light sockets out ( i can,t see why they would,nt have all been the same ) & push it into the nose gear socket & the gear lamp probably would have lit up eliminating all that time consuming frigging around
